Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a major impact on business and organizations. This rapid development can be observed in the field of information and communication technology which plays a central role in this change, with growth of 62.10% from 2017 to 2021. In this context, project management is becoming increasingly crucial for organizations, requiring high efficiency and effectiveness. . One organization that experiences similar problems in project management is Sinovi or the Innovation Center which is under the auspices of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology. The main problem they face is that the process of creating bills and payments is still done manually, where there are tools used by Sinovi such as Microsoft Word and Excel, these things cause the process of recording bills and payments to be hampered. These limitations can also impact the billing and payment process. The aim of this research is to overcome the challenges in project management faced by the Innovation Center (Sinovi) at the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology, especially related to the billing and payment process, by using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method, which focuses on speed of system development time. as well as suitability of system results to user needs. With the development of this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for users to solve problems faced when carrying out the project management process, especially in the billing and payment sections.
