Abstract

Paberasan Village is one of the villages in Cilacap Regency that has good natural resources for development. To improve efficiency and service regarding information in Paberasan Village, the Paberasan Village government wants to implement information technology through the village information management system website. Currently, the delivery of information and data management in Paberasan Village is still done manually, using paper leaflets, loudspeakers and printed documents. The main problems include managing population data, finances and village activities. To overcome this problem, design a village management information system development website using the OpenSID framework approach. OpenSID is an open source application with the PHP programming language and CodeIgniter framework. OpenSID aims to facilitate access to information, increase transparency and accountability, and facilitate accurate services and reporting. The website system development process uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which emphasizes development speed through an incremental approach and the use of prototypes. RAD was chosen because it makes it easier for users to understand the system through modeling, allows modifications as needed, and speeds up the development process. The results of website development testing using the Black Box Testing method to enable software functionality from testing 65 test cases in the admin and manager roles resulted in success reaching 100% and the results of Heuristic Evaluation testing to assess the level of usefulness of distributing questionnaires to 94 respondents produced the highest rating. on principal Visibility of system status with an average number of 1,277. By applying this technology and method, this research succeeded in building a management information system for Paberasan Village that can be used effectively and efficiently for the community and village government officials.
