Abstract

Melung Tourism Village has interesting tourist attractions to visit and develop. From the interviews, it is known that brochures are the only media for tourism promotion in Melung Tourism Village. Using brochures as a tool for promotion makes the tourism potential less known by others and more difficult to change if it changes at any time. The tourism management system that still uses manual methods will be ineffective and inefficient in storing and processing booking data. In addition, the booking system is only available offline, which does not give visitors any other choice. Based on these problems, this research aims to design a website system that can help promote the tourism village, manage information about the tourism village, and serve tourists. The Rapid Application Development method is chosen to shorten the design time by actively involving the Melung Tourism Village. Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique shows that 99% of the scenarios run successfully achieve the expected results. This research concludes that the design of the information system can function properly and run as it should.
