Abstract
The Telkom University Purwokerto Institute of Technology Library, also known as ITTP Library, provides a discussion room facility available for all library members. To utilize this facility, library members are required to make reservations through a Google Form by providing personal information and selecting a schedule. Before choosing a schedule, library members must check the available schedules on a Spreadsheet. This research aims to address inefficiencies in the discussion room reservation process within the ITTP environment. Development is carried out through the creation of a specialized reservation web application that will be integrated with the D-Library platform, utilizing the SLiMS software as a plugin. By implementing the Extreme Programming (XP) development method, it is expected to achieve maximum efficiency, flexibility, and enhanced functionality in providing reservation services. The research results indicate that the Discussion Room Reservation feature has performed well, tested through 8 black-box testing scenarios involving 40 potential users. The testing demonstrates full success in executing all scenarios. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) acceptance index is 90,60%, indicating excellent acceptance from potential users. This success is attributed to the efficiency of the Discussion Room Reservation Feature in facilitating the reservation process and enabling administrators to make reservations, manage schedules, and handle reservation data.
