Abstract
Augmented Reality (AR) technology in recent years has developed rapidly and has found many applications in various fields, including tourism. This research aims to design and develop an AR application specifically made for tourism of Pak Kasur's grave site. Pak Kasur's grave site has a high historical and cultural value, but conventional tourism experiences may be less attractive to modern tourists who are more accustomed to interactive technology. Pak Kasur's tomb, as one o f the historical sites with high cultural and historical value, also requires an innovative approach to enhance the visitor experience. This application is designed to enhance the tourist experience by providing informative and engaging AR content for users. The application development method involves location mapping, development of AR content relevant to the site, and proper integration of AR technology. Augmented Reality technology can provide answers by applying markers as targets to visualize the desired object into a 3D object. In making the system using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle method. The method is used for the development of multimedia software systems. Blackbox testing is done to test this application system with the results of all app lication feature components running properly without any failures or errors in the system. System Usablility Scale testing resulted in a value of 78.8333 which has an “acceptable” value at the level of acceptability ranges. This application is an interesting and easy-to-use information media, and can provide historical information about Mr. Kasur in an interactive and interesting way.
