Abstract

Cleo Barbershop is one of the barbershops in Purwokerto. Cleo Barbershop has problems that are often faced, such as the queuing process when you want to cut your hair, because the queuing process in the barbershop which is still done manually can cause problems, such as long waiting times for customers and less effective management of customer schedules. And there are also customers who want to give ratings and reviews but there is no place to give them. Therefore, barbershops cannot evaluate their performance and also do not know whether they provide good or poor service to customers. This research aims to design an application that supports barbershops in the queue reservation process to make customers queue more easily and create rating and review features for customers to provide opinions about Cleo Barbershop services. This research uses the RAD method which has 3 stages, namely planning requirements, RAD design workshop and implementation. This research applies the first in first out algorithm and the RAD method in designing an Android-based barbershop reservation application. The RAD method has been successfully implemented in this research and resulted in an Android-based queuing system for barbershops, which allows customers to provide feedback on barber and barbershop services. The results of functionality testing using the black box testing method show that all features in the application run smoothly and as desired.
