Abstract

The school information website functions as an efficient channel for sharing information between the school and other parties and provides a platform to accommodate and share information within the school environment. The process of disseminating school information at SD Negeri 3 Kaliori still uses oral and written methods, so there is no place to channel information related to the school. To address this issue, a school profile website was created. The aim is to help address the problem of school information dissemination that still uses oral and written methods, by utilizing current technology and promoting the school, which is expected to improve the school's accreditation. The system development process can be completed by using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method involves a phased and iterative approach, allowing for rapid system development. This research involves the processes of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The system modeling uses Unified Modeling Language (UML). The resulting school profile website includes features such as home, profile, teachers, activities, and news. Subsequently, the researcher conducted functionality testing using the black box testing method, and the results showed that all features worked well. Then, the researcher conducted usability testing using the system usability scale (SUS) method. The respondents in the study were 48 parents who answered the questionnaire, and calculations were performed using the SUS method. Using the SUS method, the average score obtained was 81.55. It can be concluded that the school profile website has a usability grade of B with the predicate "Excellent" and based on the Acceptability Ranges category, the user acceptance level of this website falls into the "High" category, which means the website is highly accepted by users due to its high acceptance level.
