Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Jatibarang is one of the junior high school institutions in the district. Brebes, Central Java Province. SMP Negeri 1 Jatibarang has been accredited A from 2022 with an accreditation score of 92. SMP Negeri 1 Jatibarang not only accommodates students in Jatibarang, but can also accommodate students from various regions such as Tegal Regency and surrounding areas. Regarding the large number of students registering at SMP Negeri 1 Jatibarang, there needs to be a platform to make it easier to support teaching and learning activities at the institution, namely by using website-based e-learning. In this research, the information system platform was built using the Rapid Application development method. This method was chosen because it is easy to apply and can be developed without starting from scratch. The e-learning website was created to accommodate information related to teaching and learning activities in class. Website testing can be done using the black box testing method to find out whether the input and output results work with functionality. The results of the research show that learning at SMP Negeri 1 Jatibarang is carried out in a hybrid manner, meaning that the learning process takes turns in one week for students to go to school. In the discussion of this research, it can be concluded that the website-based e-learning application can be used well with system testing which shows that all the features in the system can work as expected.
