Abstract

PERUMDA Tirta Satria Banyumas is a regionally owned business entity managed by the Banyumas City government which focuses on supply, distribution and management in providing clean water sources for the people of Banyumas City. At the PERUMDA Tirta Satria company, there was a ransomware attack on the company's security system which resulted in the inaccessibility of several servers, data was damaged, there was a change in file extensions which resulted in interested employees of the PERUMDA Tirta Satria company being unable to upload photos and documents, and because PERUMDA Tirta Satria does not yet have system security management to carry out mitigation measures other than the data backup process which is carried out every day, data backup alone is not enough to protect the security of the company's information system. The research method used in this research is qualitative methods with data sources obtained from observations and interviews. . The type of questions used in collecting data in the interview process is by implementing semi-structured interviews. This research was carried out with the final results being recommendations aimed at identifying improvements to significantly increase security for the company. The choice of ISO 27001:2013 as the standard for carrying out this research evaluation is because ISO itself is an international standard for solving problems that occur at PERUMDA Tirta Satria Banyumas, this standard is very flexible to develop and really depends on the needs of the organization.
