Abstract

Indonesia has a total population of 275.77 million people. Population growth is increasingly encouraging the development of various industries, especially for primary human needs. One of these primary needs is a house to live in. House prices are increasingly expensive, making many people choose to rent a place to live, such as apartments, boarding houses, and rented houses. Problems occur when the lessee does not make payments based on the agreed agreement. This causes the landlord to bill directly and often the landlord is not present. Often the tenant is not there so that late payments occur. Based on this problem, a device was created to make it easier for owners to collect rent for their property. The results showed that the device has an error value of 6% for detecting 100 thousand rupiah, a 0% error for detecting 50 thousand rupiah, and a 13% error for detecting 20 thousand rupiah. The experimental results also show that the device is able to work according to the desired scenario. Data transmission via the Antares IoT platform and solenoid valve works well
