Abstract
Human daily life has changed significantly due to technological advancements, especially the Internet of Things (IoT). The increase in crimes such as robberies, thefts, and home break-ins makes the implementation of home door security systems important. Physical locks are used in manual home door security systems and RFID is a problem that many face because traditional security systems that still use physical locks are vulnerable to attacks. Since this method is vulnerable to attacks and difficult to control remotely, it is necessary to develop a home door security system that is effective, inexpensive, and can be controlled remotely using the latest technology such as voice. This research proposes the development of a home door security system that can be remotely controlled by voice. The programmable circuit controller that supports Internet of Things (IoT) technology is the Wemos D1 microcontroller. To avoid obstacles, the system is integrated with an infrared sensor to identify objects in front of the door. The solenoid will function to open and close the door, and the buzzer will provide a sound alert. The results of the study successfully sent real-time sensor reading data through the Antares platform with an average delay for the unlock command is 8.256 seconds while for the lock command is 7.353 seconds with MIT App Inventor successfully running the command 15 times. For door control using voice command lock, the average delay is 7.886 seconds and for the speak unlock command, the average delay obtained is 4.848 seconds. Keywords: Antares Platform, Door security, HTTP, Internet of Things (IoT), Voice Command.
