Abstract
Planning coverage is the network planning viewed from the area that will be covered by the network. In planning the coverage often experience issues such as coverage that is too short or too much coverage (overshoot) the cover in an area so that the interference occurs resulting in a poor signal in these areas and also lead to speed internet access became lower. To fix the issue required optimization in network planning. Optimization is performed on parameters tunning physical which includes determination of the azimuth direction, determination of total tilting, the determination of the type of antenna used. This thesis on planning the network 4 g LTE coverage 1800 Mhz on a cluster in the city of Jakarta which is simulated on UNET software. The data for coverage planning 4 g LTE 1800 MHz network refers to the data Engineer Parameter of site cluster. The planning has been done producing coverage planning existing which is then done on optimization parameters physical tunning based on calculation that was done to generate coverage planning optimization. Further coverage planning optimization compared with planning coverage existing From the results of the planning that has been done after the optimization of parameters physical tunning on the RSRP produces total coverage planning for existing clusters of 11.2995 km2 and for cluster optimization increased by 14.1136 km2 with improvement of 2.8141 km2. Then on the SINR parameter produces a total coverage planning for existing clusters of 71.9975 km2 and for cluster optimization increased by 94.0809 km2 with improvement of 22.0834 km2. So it can be inferred that the coverage planning RSRP and SINR optimization more widespread than coverage planning RSRP and SINR existing.
