Abstract

Kranggan Village, Pekuncen District, has had problems publishing activities that have been carried out previously to the wider community through a website that has been provided by Kominfo. Thus, Kranggan Village itself still has difficulties in disseminating information media related to activities or information because Kominfo's website cannot be managed, especially in terms of inputting activities as soon as possible. The website that will be made aims to only be accessible to Kranggan Village stakeholders, namely the Village head and the Village Secretary section. This study aims to add information about activities or activities on the Kranggan Village website so that the general public understands what activities or activities are in Kranggan Village as well as information about Kranggan Village. In designing this website, it was designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method because, using this method, the information system design process emphasizes the design cycle in a short time according to the needs of the Head of Kranggan Village. This Rapid Application Development (RAD) has three stages, starting with the Requirements Planning, Design Workshop, and Implementation stages. After going through the three stages of the RAD method, it will be easier to produce objective information so that it can be easier for the community to find information about activities in Kranggan Village. This research also resulted in the design of a website-based information system database for Kranggan Village, which can input activities or activities of residents in Kranggan Village and information about Kranggan Village.
