Abstract

Information Technology is a technology designed to process data, manipulate data, and store data to obtain quality, relevant, accurate, and timely information for personal and government needs. Buluh Pancur Village is one of the villages that has not yet implemented information technology for village administration needs or providing information to village communities. Therefore, to provide convenience for the village government in managing information that will be conveyed to the people of Buluh Pancur Village, it is necessary to have a web-based village information system to provide information about village profiles, village activity events, submitting complaints made by the community and village services such as making letters information to help overcome the weaknesses of the manual system, especially in making computerized cover letters. The purpose of this study was to design and build a village information system (SID) website in Buluh Pancur using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The development of an information system for Buluh Pancur Village was carried out using the Sublime text tools and the PHP and Javascript programming languages. The results of the system functional test used the Black-Box method which resulted in the features found on the SI BULPAN website system running well. Meanwhile, in the analysis of the acceptance level of SID Buluh Pancur using the system usability scale (SUS) analysis, a score of 80.13 was obtained. The score obtained belongs to grade A which indicates the information system can be used very well by users.
