Abstract

The new student admission process at SDN 01 Pedagung is still manually conducted, resulting in a delay in data processing due to the high number of applicants and a limited number of registration officers who face challenges in handling the student enrollment process. As a result, registration officers often struggle to manage the influx of applicants, making the enrollment process uncomfortable and causing delays in data processing, thus reducing efficiency. Based on these issues, this research aims to design and develop a web-based new student registration system. The Rapid Application Development methodology will be employed for system development. The implementation of the information system will utilize the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL for database management. The Black Box testing method will be employed, and the results indicate good functionality, demonstrating that the developed information system is well- constructed.
