Abstract

The village data reporting process at the Kebasen Village Hall is still carried out using Microsoft Excel or conventionally so it is not effective. In addition, village reports can only be accessed via a computer at the Kebasen Village Hall. This results in the information being produced takes a long time and results in slow decision making. Therefore, in order to solve this problem the researcher designed a website-based village report executive information system using the waterfall method. This executive information system aims to make it easier for executives or village heads to access village reports and to make decisions quickly. Executive Information System is a management information system that functions to facilitate decision making required by senior executives. The waterfall method is used because it can start from the system requirements phase and move through the analysis, design, testing, and maintenance phases. The developed system is tested using black box testing, because black box testing can find faulty functions or other errors. In this study, researchers used village report data in the Kebasen Village Hall, Kebasen District, Banyumas Regency in its preparation. In this SIE design, there is a report needed by the village head in the form of a diagram and can be exported to excel. The results of this study are expected to assist the local executive or village head in making decisions. In addition, adding a diagram feature to the executive report can also assist the village head in summarizing the village report.
