Abstract

The current development of information technology and the internet has changed the way humans do their activities, one of which is shopping on e-commerce platforms. E-commerce faces high data security risks, such as hacker attacks, identity theft, or data modification. Blockchain technology can provide a solution by providing strong encryption and decentralization mechanisms to protect the integrity and confidentiality of transaction data. However, several things must be considered in using blockchain for transaction data security. The research method used in this study was a systematic literature review. This research was conducted by searching and understanding literature related to blockchain technology and e-commerce and looking for things that can be considered in using blockchain. In its application, blockchain technology has several benefits and challenges in protecting transaction data security, but the application of blockchain technology to transaction data security can be considered.
