Abstract

Braga Hotel Purwokerto is a hotel service company located on Jl. Soepardjo Roestam Km.1 No. 228, Sokaraja Kulon, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. This hotel provides variousfacilities that are used to support your needs during your stay. Based on the data obtained, Braga hotel Purwokerto experienced insignificant increases and decreases. This is due to the lack of marketing that is used which is only limited to the Instagram application. In addition, the information conveyed is also incomplete and not neatly arranged so that it does not provide information interest and satisfaction to customers. Based on theseproblems, a website-based information system was developed to overcome the problems faced. The approach chosen in this design is the extreme programming method. The Extreme Programming method is a software methodology that is included in the agile approach initiated by Kent Beck in 1996. This method involves 4 main steps, namely planning, design, coding and testing. The purpose of this research is to build an application that can facilitate ordering and provide room booking information. This research was tested using blackbox testing and user acceptance testing. The test results show the hotel room booking information system website with user and admin views. There is a login page,dashboard, room, book now, add rooms, add categories, add events, and add users. The results of the black box testing show that 100% of the features can function as they should.
