Abstract
Attendance activities have an important role as attendance data collection in various institutions, for example at schools, universities, offices, and hospitals. Attendance is important because it serves as proof of someone's presence and supports the teaching and learning process in the administration section. Based on the problems the author obtained through interviews, the research conducted by the author is expected to help solve these problems by creating a web-based QR Code presence information system using the Firebase database using the waterfall method. Application testing uses black box testing by testing the application according to the test-case design that has been made by the author. The test results obtained from the test case designs A001, A002, A003, A004, A005, A006 and B001 conclude "successful/valid" in each test. It can be concluded that the application has functioned according to its functional features. Keywords: black box testing, cloud, database, server, web
