Abstract

Birds are one of the animals that reproduce by laying eggs and are included in the Aves group, which has feathers and wings to fly. As we know, there are about 97,000 species of birds living in the world. While in Indonesia alone there are about 1,812 species. It would certainly be difficult to understand all of these species. This research is expected to be useful for understanding and recognizing several existing bird species, especially endemic bird species which have become icons of several cities in Central Java Province. The results of this study will later be presented in the form of a website, which contains typical bird species that have become icons of several cities in Central Java province. The website will be created using the HTML/PHP programming language and database management using MySQL. The method used on the Website, namely the Rapid Application Development method, is a method that focuses on developing software quickly and briefly. The website will be tested using Blackbox Testing to check the functionality of the website with a success index of around 91,8%, the website is running well based on the Blackbox Testing questionnaire by several testers
