Abstract
Nowadays, the development of technology has experienced rapid progress, one of which is in the use ofcommunication tools such as mobile-based technology. Not only that, mobile technology helps Muslims in reading and practicing the values of the Quran using digital Quran. Based on data from the World Population Review in 2022, Indonesia ranks first with the largest Muslim population in the world. Therefore, digital Quran greatly helps Muslims as an alternative in using the Quran. However, there is a debate among scholars regarding mobile-based digital Quran that can be carried anywhere without considering the situation and conditions. This issue can arise when the use of the physical book (hardcopy) is concerned to be at risk ofsomething that may harm the Quran itself during long-distance travel. Therefore, to solve this problem, the design of an Android application with the necessary features for Muslims in Indonesia is carried out. This design is developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method as a reference to develop an in%rmation system that excels in terms of speed, accuracy, and lower costs. The research is conducted by testing using Black Box Testing. This research resulted in an android-based digital Quran application with complete suras along with audio, complete daily prayers and writing notes that can be used both online and offline.
