Abstract
Indonesia is a tropical country where it often rains suddenly, while the clothesline is still outside the house and people forget or don't have enough time to remove the clothesline when it rains or they are not at home. In this study, an automatic drying system was designed that can secure clothes when it rains or sudden changes in weather using the fuzzy logic method. When it rains, the system automatically pulls and puts the clothes in the shade, whereas when the weather conditions are not rainy, the system automatically moves the clothes to a normal place. This automatic clothesline uses a rain sensor, DHT11 sensor, LDR light sensor, arduino uno, and nodeMCU ESP8266. The sensor results are processed by arduino uno and the drying conditions will be displayed on the Blynk application. Keywords: fuzzy logic, rain sensor, DHT11 sensor, LDR light sensor, Arduino uno, NodeMCU ESP8266, Blynk
