Abstract
In the mining industry, the risk of accidents is very likely to occur, so it is necessary to prevent work accidents through supervision activities. At PT Berau Coal, monitoring activities are assisted by a monitoring system named as Mining Eyes Analytics (MEA). The website-based application is integrated with CCTV cameras spread across several points of production areas and combined with Machine Learning technology, so that the system can detect potential hazards automatically where the data will be displayed on MEA in the form of notifications to help level one supervisors conduct monitoring. Based on the results of observations made, there are several complaints related to the use of MEA felt by its users so that an evaluation is then carried out using the Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) method to map existing problems and determine solutions by also confirming through interviews with users related to the VPC that has been made. VPC itself is a method that can be used to deeply explore the perspective of users through the values in it so as to produce recommendations on what should be developed from a product through the products & services variable and from these variables the development requirements on the front-end side will be determined. In the development itself, the Waterfall method is used to ensure the process of analyzing needs until application testing can run well, which is tested using the Black box method. In the last stage, testing states that all features and functionality are appropriate and pass the test case.
