Abstract

Crashbell is an innovative security system used in airport security. The system consists of hardware and software connected to various airport security systems, including buttons, relays, mikrokontrolers, switches, wiring, bells and a website to monitor crashbell. The way crashbell works is based on monitoring by officers in the monitoring tower who will analyze the condition of the aircraft either during take-in or take-off. If the crashbell button is pressed, it will immediately turn on the bell in the ARFF building so that the firefighters can quickly prepare for the possibility of what will happen to the aircraft. When the bell rings, security personnel can quickly respond to the situation with the help of information that will be provided by the monitoring tower, such as the exact location of the incident, the type of threat that may occur, and the direction of action required. This allows for a faster and more efficient response to emergency situations, which in turn can reduce potential human and material losses at the airport. Therefore, crashbell can improve airport security by providing quick alerts to firefighters from the airport when an emergency situation occurs on an aircraft.
