Abstract
Practical Work is one of the mandatory courses that every student must take and students are required to take this Practical Work as one of the important requirements for campus graduation. Partners taken in Practical Work namely PT Telkom Access, Surakarta. PT Telkom Access opens opportunities in the field of project deployment. In the process of implementing a project, this division carries out a survey in the field to find out the network design that wants to be built, such as the number of Optical Distribution Points (ODP), cable length, Google Earth images, and Autocad images. The results of the survey can be continued to carry out permits and prepare materials to be used in accordance with previous designs. The results obtained after carrying out the network construction were testing the ODP that was built. There were 4 ODPs built with each attenuation obtained, namely -18.21 dB, -14.97 dB, -16.01 dB, -17.22 dB. The output limit from the ODP before going to the customer is -14 dB to -20 dB. After completing all projects in accordance with the provisions, an acceptance test will be carried out with the partner who requested the work order.
