Abstract

The current technological advancements have had a significant impact on the rapid dissemination of information. Electronic media and the internet have become the most widely used platforms by various individuals and institutions, including educational and healthcare organizations, as well as government agencies. The National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) in Central Java is a non-ministerial government institution responsible for providing training and education to the community in the region. To fulfill its duties, it has a specialized unit known as the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Balai Diklat Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana (UPT Balai Diklat KKB) Banyumas have a crucial role in facilitating public communication, information dissemination, and education (KIE). However, there is a challenge in terms of the lack of a website-based media platform that can rapidly and comprehensively distribute information. To address this issue, UPT Balai Diklat KKB Banyumas collaborated with the Software Engineering and Multimedia Expertise Group (KK-RPLM) at Telkom University Institute of Technology Purwokerto to develop a website- based information system for the purpose of communication, information sharing, and education within UPT Balai Diklat KKB Banyumas. This website-based information system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and Laravel framework with PHP programming language. The system was rigorously tested using blackbox testing methods, achieving a 100% validity rate in all test cases.
