Abstract

The digital library is one of the educational facilities that has a function as an information provider institution. The implementation of the use of existing digital libraries is still not clearly known to what extent users accept the digital library system. Therefore, this study aims to identify factors that support the emergence of interest in digital library users and can be used as material for evaluating digital libraries at IT Telkom Purwokerto. This research was conducted using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. TAM offers a powerful and simple explanation for the acceptance of information technology and the behavior of its users. Measurement of factors that influence the use of IT Telkom Purwokerto digital library using variables adopted from TAM theory. The TAM variables used are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and actual use. Sampling was done by random sampling on active students of IT Telkom Purwokerto, totaling 107 respondents. Respondents' answers were measured using a Likert scale and for data analysis using the SPSS application. The independent variables used are perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, actual use with the dependent variable being digital library Self Efficacy. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that actual use has the greatest influence on digital library self-efficacy. Simultaneous perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, actual use have a positive effect on digital library self-efficacy. About 35,2% of digital library self-efficacy can be explained by the variables perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, actual use. The results of this study help provide measurement results in the form of factor analysis that can influence users in using digital libraries so that they can provide advice to managers of IT Telkom Purwokerto digital library systems.
