Abstract

The library information system is a website that is used to assist business processes at the Tangerang City BPS library. The process that takes place includes the process of cataloging, returning, and borrowing books. Based on the results of observations and interviews with the head of BPS Tangerang City, obtained information on services for borrowing/returning activities which are still manual and difficulties in archiving books which are the main obstacles in the Tangerang City BPS library. Therefore, a PKL/KP report will be prepared to design information system requirements and identify its use for BPS Tangerang City. Based on this, it is necessary to specify software requirements in order to provide an overview in system design and provide recommendations to produce an output from an appropriate system. This report is expected to be a proposal and reference in developing a library information system website at BPS Tangerang City.
