Abstract
The need for electricity is currently considered quite a lot, as an archipelago, Indonesia has a fairly wide and large area. PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara) always strives to maintain system reliability and also maintains quality and the quality of the electrical system. Wadaslintang 150 kV substation is one of them from the Central Java Transmission PLN Unit which functions as a route electric transmission system Java Bali. Currently, most substations have adopting Automation Systems, namely substations using machines, systems control, and information technology for optimization of electricity distribution. Likewise, a protection system is applied at the substation to find out disturbance quantity, control system performance and protection against disturbances that occur. So the author will try to compile a report Practical work with the title "Analysis of Equipment Installation in the Control Room and protection Wadaslintang 150 kV substation ”. Substation Control System is a system for regulating the distribution of electricity, the control system consists of protection, control and measurement equipment that can communicate one to each other both locally and remotely.
