Abstract

At this time the development of technology today is very fast, including in the world of telecommunications. Every telecommunication service provider is competing in providing quality network services to its users. Starting from the 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. The development of equipment in telecommunications is usually found in RBS, Digital Unit, Radio Unit, Antenna, and also cables. Updating the device can have an effect in terms of memory capacity on a BTS, data transmission rate at BTS, and others. This new high power and large capacity RRU supports signal networks, and improves frequency efficiency. This product increases network coverage and reduces Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for operators. It can also lower costs by supporting two signal networks, thereby reducing the number of BTS equipment required by operators. The RRU is also upgradeable to support LTE, which can further protect operator investment. For Indonesia, currently the Government is still reviewing the frequencies to be allocated for LTE technology. Keywords: BTS, RRU, install
