Abstract
Developers in developing a system need to know their functional requirements first. The aim of this is to provide a clear picture of the system to Programmers and other technical experts. System design is done by making a Use Case Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Making Use Case diagrams can help developers to communicate the design and arrange system requirements to the Balai Teknik Perkeretaapian (BTP). While ERD is used to describe the relationship between data in the Database in modeling the data structure. At the design stage of this system, a good communication between the BTP and the developer is generated regarding the needs of system functionality.
