Abstract
The transmission system is a medium or path that connects between the sender and receiver of information, because the distance is far , the first data is converted into a code or signal, and this is a gesture that will be manipulated in various ways to be converted back into data. There are a wide variety of transmission systems, one radio transmission systems that use NEC devices is Ipasolink. On this device is divided into two main parts, namely outdoor unit (ODU) and indoor unit (IDU) and each different device functions. How the flow of information received radio signal with a frequency of 7 GHz microwave, begin with a conversation or SMS, data and images received BTS customers in the form of 2 Mbps onwards sent to the device Multiplexer (IDU) to be collected or combined into baseband. Then sent to the Modem (IDU) is converted into a signal Intermediate Frequency (IF) for 70/140 Mbps depending on the equipment used. The next step is sent to the device Transmitter (ODU) which translated IF (merged) into a radio signal Freqeuency (RF) 7 GHz. This RF signal will be converted into the IF signal 70/140 Mbps to be sent to the device Modem (IDU), and the IF signal is converted (de modulation) into a base band is then sent to the multiplexer (IDU) to be separated into 2 Mbps and sent to BTS link. If this device is damaged then the BTS will be down or die. Keywords: IDU, ODU, the Radio transmission system, NEC Ipasolink
