Abstract

The 7-week Field Work Practice (PKL) is expected to benefit not only the experience of the world of work but also the implementation of the knowledge and skills acquired during the lectures to contribute to problem solving at various companies or installations related to the field studied in each course. By implementing Industrial Work Practices, students are trained to recognize the scope of work in the field, in order to adapt themselves to the environment and insights both hard skills and soft skills. Field Work Practices conducted at PT. Telkom Regional Division IV Central Java - DIY, Semarang. In this company there is a special deputy that handles centralized information system that is Information System Operation Support (IS OS) which tasked to take care of hardware, build software for requirement of PT. Telkom, and regular maintenance on the device used.
