Abstract

A good antenna is an antenna that can transmit and receive signals well. In the installation of an antenna, consider the location of the antenna development itself, one of which is Line of Sight (LoS). Where the antenna should not be blocked anything like trees, buildings or the possibility of passing a large vehicle. Then, to direct the antenna to the satellite or called pointing, please also note the direction of Azimuth and Elevation angle. To build a transmission system that can reach long distances and good quality. One device that can transmit remote signals is the VSAT (Very Small Aparture Terminal). With VSAT technology is expected to facilitate the user or community in communicating without having to connect to the cable. VSAT is a parabolic antenna-shaped terminal with a diameter of between 0.6 m and 3.8 m which is used to transmit and receive information signals via Satellite.
