Abstract
Acceptance of new learners in high or vocational schools, particularly in private schools, is not practical. There are still problems at this time, such as not getting accommodation from the government to create a new student admission system online, so that the PPDB registration system in the private sector still many who use the system manually. This requires prospective new students to come directly to school without considering the distance from home to school. The website-based new student acceptance system is one option to help schools and prospective new students overcome the problem of accepting new students. The purpose of this study is to help the implementation committee of new students in data management and help prospective new students to be able to access the admission system of new students without having to come directly to school. The new student acceptance system is built using prototype method with model-view-controller ( MVC) architecture to facilitate website development. This study resulted in a new web-based student acceptance system MVC prototype method, which will be applied at SMK Larenda Bulakamba. Keywords: Systems, PPDB , Website, Prototype, MVC
