Abstract

Report on Field Work Practices (PKL) in the Infrastructure Building in the Infrastructure and Network Division at Kominfo Banyumas which is located at Jalan Masjid No. 8, Sokanegara, Kec. Purwokerto Tim., Banyumas Regency, Central Java 53115 which was held from 07 August to 07 September 2023. This Field Work Practice is used to gain knowledge that is not obtained in lectures, and to know firsthand the work environment and the duties and responsibilities of the Infrastructure Midwife at Kominfo Banyumas. The placement of street vendors at this company is divided into several routine activities that are carried out including regulation with third parties regarding communication networks, routine inspection of work tools that are worn or damaged. The implementation of work in the field of Infrastructure is routine checking of work tools such as routers and access points, checking Windows services that are starting to expire, monitoring networks using Zabbix and creating network structures. Zabbix is used to implement a server or network device resource monitoring system. The aim of street vendors for internships is to gain skills and gain experience and knowledge in preparation for facing competition in the world of work later and also to meet the requirements for the course in the Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering, Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto.
