Abstract

This work aims at making an evaluation of the effectiveness of digital educational resources, and their impact on actual performance of students, by varying some essential characteristics. To do that, a review of the literature is made to gain a general overview of the information society, and how this serves as a framework for the relationship between technology and education. Later, an attempt to define a learning object is made, and the main characteristics considered for their effectiveness on the learning outcomes are described. At the methodology section, a quasi-experimental research design is described, contrasting a control group with one treatment, applied to more than 660 subjects. The results obtained after performing a Student T analysis show that resources with high levels of intuitivity and attractiveness provoke a more effective learning.
