Abstract

Automatic control system in the field of science and technology is developing rapidly in recent resulting in new innovations. Drying clothes is one of the activities that are often carried out in domestic life and drying clothes sometimes left traveling so did not have time to lift the clothesline at the time of rain this becomes a problem, so we need a tool that can tell the weather conditions at the time of drying without having to be place detector rain system based on arduino uno with using sms report is one solution.Detection rain made in this thesis using PCB conductor boards as water sensors and DC motors to close and open a clothesline. whereas uno arduino microcontroller is used as the main controller and modem wavecome This tool is used to send SMS in the form of a notice when it rains, it rains detection tool is a development of the previous tool, forms the output of this tool is in the form of text and a clothesline that is driven by a DC motor in order to be able to close when condition rai with voltage output -8,48 volts and open their own when not raining with voltage ouput 8,48 volts.
