Abstract
Evaluation of network performance for the next few years is very important because it changes and developments continue to occur in the world of telecommunications, especially in mobile telecommunications. To continue to improve the best performance of a system it is necessary to evaluate and repair of deficiencies contained in the system through the performance evaluation of cellular networks based on the capacity for the next few years. Research by the author is to evaluate the performance of the existing site network WCDMA Node B in the area of South Purwokerto based on the capacity of the system every year until 2014. Results of research conducted that performance conditions for the WCDMA Node B site on the Tanjung and South Purwokerto parameter Call Success Rate (SCR), on 3G_TANJUNGPWK1 value 98.11%, 3G_TANJUNGPWK2 value 95.78%, 3G_TANJUNGPWK3 value 99.56%, 3G2IP_PWKT_SLT1 value 99.33%, 3G2IP_PWKT_SLT2 value 94.94%, 3G2IP_PWKT_SLT3 value 99.04%. As for the parameters of Drop Call on 3G_TANJUNGPWK1 value 1.20%, 3G_TANJUNGPWK2 value 1.45%, 3G_TANJUNGPWK3 value 0.36%, 3G2IP_PWKT_SLT1 value 1.24%, 3G2IP_PWKT_SLT2 value 1.55%, 3G2IP_PWKT_SLT3 value 0.33%. based on the calculation of various parameters, we can conclude that the performance of Node B WCDMA network until 2014 in good condition.
